The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing fermented soybean paste with yams, and fermented soybean paste manufactured by the same method. According to the present invention, the method for manufacturing fermented soybean paste with yams comprises the steps of: a) pre-processing beans and yams (S11); b) mixing 1 to 5% of the pre-processed yams and 95 to 99 wt% of the pre-processed beans, with respect to the total weight of fermented soybean paste (S12); c) putting the mixed yams and beans in an yeast room with the germ of fermented soybean paste, and fermenting the same (S13); and d) putting the fermented soybean paste in a freezing drying machine, and drying the same (S14).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
