Embodiments of the present invention relate to an energy supply circuit which supplies power without a power converter and to an electronic device which operates only when energy is supplied from an energy source by using the same. The energy supply circuit according to embodiments includes: an energy source which generates power; an output unit which supplies the power to an electronic circuit; and a control unit generating a sleep signal or a wake-up signal for controlling a power mode of the electronic circuit to match an average current amount, consumed by the electronic circuit, with a current amount corresponding to the maximum power point of the energy source in accordance with brightness. Therefore, the embodiments simplify a composition, lower manufacturing costs, have no energy loss in accordance with a power conversion, and prevent a life reduction in accordance with the charging and discharging of an energy storage device.
