The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a transparent electrode of a metal nanowire and a transparent electrode of the metal nanowire manufactured thereby. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a transparent electrode of a metal nanowire having excellent visibility capable of efficiently reducing manufacturing costs, and to a transparent electrode of the metal nanowire manufactured thereby. The present invention makes a metal nanowire of a pattern part into a particle by heating a metal nanowire layer for forming a pattern, and blocks electric connection of the metal nanowire. The pattern part where the metal nanowire is turned into a particle may substantially represent the same optical characteristic as that of a non-pattern part. Visibility of the transparent electrode is improved so an additional index matching layer is not required. The process is more simplified as compared with a patterning method according to the related art so a production process rate may be reduced and the costs may be reduced due to a simple process.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
