The present invention relates to an exercise instrument having the function of a jump rope that can be used for various applications such as a jump rope, a hula hoop and a dumbbell depending on the taste of a user. To achieve the purpose, the present invention comprises: a pair of grip bodies (100) bisected to be able to constitute a single body in engagement with each other; and a pair of ropes (200) having one end fixed to one side of each of the grip bodies (100), having the other end formed as a free end and selectively coupled by a coupling means (210). According to the present invention, a single exercise instrument can be used for various applications such as a jump rope, a hula hoop and a dumbbell depending on the taste of a user. Therefore, costs for buying a plurality of exercise instruments can be saved.
