Provided is a method for manufacturing metal-nitride composite powder including a step for ball-milling different types of metal powder in an atmosphere of nitrogen gas. The method for manufacturing metal-nitride composite powder according to the present invention is capable of conducting a high-energy ball-milling at a desired atmosphere, thus economically forming the metal-nitride without a high-temperature process by simultaneously proceeding the alloying of metal powder and a reaction between metal and gas.
