The present invention relates to lotus leaf powder which cuts lotus leaves into thin shreds after removing some of stems fibers spread on the lotus leaves in all directions; inputs the lotus leaves into salt water, dips the shredded lotus leaves which discoloration and the spoilage are prevented into the maggolli of 30-60C; adds vinegar, a licorice root, sugar, yellow-koji mould, a fiber breakdown enzyme to the maggolli; ferments and ripens the lotus leaves in the mixed maggolli for 3-10 days without losses of medicine components and valid components contained in the lotus leaves; and pulverizes the fermented and ripened lotus leave shreds into powder of 100-300 meshes. Powders of functional lotus seeds, a lotus root, pine pollen, gardenia seeds, cinnamon, turmeric, and ginseng, coloring agents, and savouring agent are added when mixing a predetermined amount of softened lotus leave powder of which a bitter taste and odor are removed with rice powder, flour, and starch by a usual method and kneading. The lotus leave powder using functional lotus leaves having an excellent antioxidative activity, an excellent antibiotic action, the natural of a medicine, and therapeutic performance is utilized for producing wrappers of favorite foods such as a half-moon-shaped rice cake, a sticky rice cake, a steamed bread, and a dumpling. Therefore, the present invention utilizes lotus leaves, which are mostly dumped when harvesting a lotus root and which have a good texture and which are digested well, for wrappers of favorite food.
