The present invention relates to a kit for detecting Bacillus subtilis comprising a fluorescence probe which specifically binds to sulfur oxidoreductase expressed from ywbO gene of Bacillus subtilis, and to a method for detecting Bacillus subtilis using the same. According to an embodiment, the method and the kit of the present invention detect sulfur oxidoreductase expressed from ybwO gene which specifically binds to 3,6-bis(acetyloxy)-5-(choloromethyl)-spiro(isobenzofuran-1(3H),9-(9H)xanthan)-3-on, and distinguish Bacillus subtilis and Enterococcus faecalis, thereby providing easy, quick, and accurate movement results.
