The present invention relates to a device for seizing a vessel. The device for seizing the vessel according to the present invention comprises: a projectile having a cylindrical body in which one end is formed in an arrow or harpoon shape; a first rope connected to a specific part of the projectile at a predetermined length; and a parachute or cone-shaped sea anchor connected to the end of the first rope. According to the present invention, the device for seizing the vessel can efficiently subdue or seize an illegal vessel, make the illegal vessel in an inoperative state, or take a long time to eliminate the inoperative state. Furthermore, domestic fisheries can be protected and the income of fishermen can be increased by preventing illegal fishing activities. Costs for marine police and fisheries management vessels can be reduced.
