The present invention relates to a device and a method for determining a sex addict which can more accurately and easily determine a sex addict by measuring the volume of a change in a signal generated in a specific area of his/her brain when a sexual excitement occurs by using a standardized sexual arousal inducing and a functional magnetic resonance imaging. The device for determining a sex addict using a standardized sexual arousal inducing and a functional magnetic resonance imaging related to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a functional magnetic resonance imaging (FMRI) for acquiring a brain image; a determinant model creating module for creating a determinant model for determining if a subject is a sex addict or not; and a sex addict determining module for determining if the subject is a sex addict or not by using the brain image of the subject acquired by the FMRI and the determinant model. The determinant model creating module may further comprise: a sexual arousal inducing unit for performing a sexual arousal inducing process targeting the subject for inducing a sexual excitement of the subject; an image processing unit for creating cerebrum activation information data on the subject by using the brain image of the subject acquired by the FMRI; and a determinant model deducting unit for creating the determinant model based on the cerebrum activation information data.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
