The present invention relates to a pipe network design method based on metaheuristic-based water source estimation. The method includes: an input base interpreting step (S10) of inputting the pipe path and bending point information configuring the pipe network connected to multiple target reservoirs and executing a basic analysis through numeral and water quality analysis; a pipe network division step (S20) of checking the dominated reservoirs for the bending points and pipe paths of the pipe network and divides the pipe network into multiple sub pipe networks; a sub pipe network optimizing step (S30) of deriving a value by using a metaheuristic method for the preset value occurrence number set in the storage unit in advance for the sub pipe network divided in the pipe division step (S20) to calculate the diameter of the pipe of the divided sub pipe network in order to minimize an objective function indicating the cost of the sub pipe network having the water pressure at a bending point higher than the minimal setting water pressure set in the storage unit in advance; and a pipe network integration step (S40) which connects the divided sub pipe networks calculated in the sub pipe network optimizing step (S30) by using the bending points as the center and corrects the pipe path to make the water pressure of the bending points of the pipe network to be equal to or larger than the minimal water pressure set in advance in the storage unit.
