The present invention relates to an extension holder for an air pencil improved to promote use convenience by stably and firmly inserting and using a shortened air pencil, and more easily inserting and pulling out a shortened air pencil. According to the present invention, in an extension holder (10) in the form of a cylinder made of metal, as multiple elastic projections (20) are protruding toward the center in the inner circumferential surface of an insertion hole (11) of the extension holder (10), elasticity is applied to the outer circumferential surface of a pencil (1). While the elastic projection (20) is formed as a curved shape, it is protruding to allow the thickness thereof to be the same with the thickness of the extension holder (10), or a projection thickness (Ta) of a bottom dead center part of the elastic projection (20) protruding toward the center of the insertion hole (11) has the thickness relatively thinner than the thickness (Tb) of the extension holder. Therefore, in the center part of the elastic projection (20), an elastic part (201) vertically moving in the center part of the elastic projection (20) by an insertion force of inserting the pencil (1).
