A method for controlling the stability of combustion of a flame in a gas turbine generator, comprising: forming combustible mixtures in a plurality of fuel nozzles of a combustion chamber of a gas turbine generator; changing a concentration of oxygen in at least one of the combustible mixtures in a selected fuel nozzle from a plurality of fuel nozzles; burning combustible mixtures in a variety of fuel injectors to control the stability of a flame in a gas turbine generator. 2. The method according to claim 1, wherein changing the oxygen concentration further includes increasing the oxygen concentration in the selected fuel injector and lowering the oxygen concentration in another injector from the plurality of fuel injectors. The method according to claim 1, wherein the combustible mixture comprises recirculated exhaust gas and a control gas. The method according to claim 1, wherein changing the oxygen concentration in at least one of the combustible mixtures further comprises performing at least one of the following: (i) changing the amount of oxygen supplied to the at least one nozzle; (ii) changing the amount of inert gas supplied to at least one nozzle; and (iii) a change in the amount of recirculated exhaust gas supplied to at least one nozzle. The method of claim 3, wherein the control gas comprises an inert gas. The method according to claim 3, further comprising changing the oxygen concentration, further comprising one of the following: (i) actively controlling the flow of the control gas and (ii) passively controlling the flow of the regulatory gas.
