METHOD FOR INTRAOCULAR LENS IMPLANTATION WITH USE OF MONARCH INJECTOR SYSTEM

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: lens is placed in a cartridge. The cartridge is laid in an injector bed so that the cartridge is fixed loosely and moveable unilaterally towards an injector handle. An injector piston is used to push the lens to a cartridge outlet opening contacting a corneal incision. An eyeball is fixed. Rocking the injector system translates the intraocular lens into an anterior eye chamber through the corneal incision. Held by the handle, the injector system is projected towards the corneal incision. Herewith, the cartridge is displaced into the injector bed towards its handle. The lens is pressed out towards the cartridge outlet opening by means of the injector piston.;EFFECT: method enables the effective intraocular lens implantation by one-handed unassisted manipulations, and also ensures controlling the implantation process by using the small corneal incision, placing the cartridge into the injector bed and fixing it loosely, adjusting a lens passage velocity by varying a pressing force of the piston.;1 ex
