The invention relates to a method and a device for the production of nitrogen fertilizers and phosphate fertilizers from organic waste products in the liquid phase as well as for hygienizing the waste or for reducing emissions by thermal treatment using mineral additives according to patent DE 103 54 063 C5 and patent application DE 10 2004 053 297 A1. According to the invention - with the aim of additionally obtaining phosphate fertilizer - the fertilizer product formed in the template, which is present in a solid and a liquid phase, is separated into the liquid and the solid fraction and the solid fraction is wholly or partly returned to the stripping container and during the next stripping trip subjected to the stripping process. Appropriately, 0.01 to 0.5% by mass, based on the amount of waste, of a basic mineral flour is added to the product returned to the stripping container. The solid part obtained from the stripping process can be used directly as a phosphate fertilizer.
