The present invention relates to a thermal conductivity detector, comprising a sensor block (1) with two cavities (2, 3) for receiving of gases, wherein the one cavity (3) open and the other cavity (2) is formed as a closed and wherein in each cavity (2, 3) a thermistor (4, 5) is located, as well as sealing elements (6, 7) for closing the cavities (2, 3), which current by means of the guiding means (60, 70), which with the thermistor arranged in the respective cavity (4, 5) are electrically conductively connected to. At least the sealing element (6) of the closed cavity (2) is a glass - metal - bushing, the with the sensor block (1) is welded in a gas-tight manner.
