Electrostatic barrier for a robotic painting system for conductive materials

An electrostatic robotic painting system includes a barrier formed of an electrical insulation material disposed between adjacent reservoirs for receiving a conductive paint used in an electrostatic painting process. The barrier is formed with a central plate and upper and lower flanges and dimensioned to block any straight line between the reservoirs so that the reservoirs are electrostatically separated and the formation of a grounding or short circuit is prevented when there is a voltage differential between the reservoirs is. The electrostatic separation of the memory further prevents wear of conductive components of the electrostatic robotic painting system.
