The invention relates to a robot controller capable of easily accelerating the movement of a robot by learning without using a special device or teaching expertise. The robot includes a storage part that stores a reference movement pattern of the robot; an input part specifying at least one of a work start area in which a motion based on the reference motion pattern of the robot is initiated and a work end area in which the movement of the robot is ended; an automatic generation part which automatically generates a plurality of movement patterns of the robot based on the reference movement patterns stored in the storage part and on divided areas formed by dividing a work area into a predetermined resolution; and a learning control part that learns a movement acceleration ratio for accelerating the movement of the robot by changing a speed or acceleration with respect to each of the automatically generated movement patterns.
