A determination unit determines a longitudinal deceleration of a vehicle, where the system is configured for testing veracity of a condition e.g. deceleration condition, of longitudinal speed of the vehicle, relative to a parameter indicative of behavior of the vehicle and/or driver, and controlling activation of the tensioning device based on the test result.
