The machine (1) has a pulley (3) at its periphery, where the pulley is driven in rotation around a rotation axis (A2). The axis is perpendicular to a main axis (A1) of a rotor of the machine. A mechanical angle transmission unit formed of a bevel pinion (12) and a conical disk (16) changes rotation of the rotor around the main axis into rotation of the pulley around the rotation axis. The disk is placed at a periphery of a rotating element (14) i.e. rotor, turning around the main axis. The disk meshes with the bevel pinion rotating around the rotation axis and being connected to the pulley. An independent claim is also included for an assembly for assisting to starting of thermal engine of a car.
