PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a useful synonym to be extracted with a weaker restriction.SOLUTION: Reference words are selected by a selection part 11 of a synonym extraction device 10A from respective words included in retrieval object text data 40 to be a retrieval object of synonyms. By an extraction part 12, two reference words are extracted from reference words selected by the selection part 11, and at least one of a word of dependency destination and a word of dependency source of the two reference words is extracted from the retrieval object text data 40. By a determination part 13A, two reference words whose value showing height of semantic commonality of at least one of the word of dependency destination and the word of dependency source of the two reference words extracted by the extraction part 12 is equal to or larger than the predetermined threshold are determined to be synonyms.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
