PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproductive cell preservation container and a vitrification preservation method of a reproductive cell in which a rapid cooling is possible, a high survival rate can be obtained, and the handling is easy.SOLUTION: Provided is a reproductive cell preservation container 1 for vitrifying a reproductive cell using vitrification preservation liquid, for freeze preservation, and in which a reproductive cell holder 11 including a placing part 21 for placing a reproductive cell-containing vitrification preservation liquid G, and a cooler 51 for accommodating the reproductive cell holder 11 and for rapid cooling the reproductive cell-containing vitrification preservation liquid G placed at the placing part 21, are contained, and when the reproductive cell holder 11 is inserted into the cooler 51, the outer wall surface 29 at the placing part 21 of the reproductive cell holder and the inner wall surface 69 of the cooler 51 come in adhesion contact.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
