PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a differential signal cable in which the breakage of the shield tape can be suppressed; and a multicore differential signal cable.SOLUTION: Provided is a differential signal cable 10 including first and second signal line conductors 21,22 for transmitting differential signal, an insulator 20 collectively cladding the first and second signal line conductors 21,22, a shield tape 3 wound around the periphery of the insulator 20, and first and second insulation tapes 4,5 wound around the outer periphery of the shield tape 3, and in which there is formed, between the outer peripheral surface 20a of the insulator 20 and the inner surface of the shield tape 3, a clearance S that allows the insulator 20 a free relative movement with respect to the shield tape 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
