PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable method for making a remote evaluation of a patient's decision making ability in his/her economic activities.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for making a remote evaluation of a patient's decision making ability in his/her economic activities and the method uses: a video conference system for facilitating a two-way communication using audio and video between an examiner C qualified as either a doctor, a psychotherapist, or a cognitive function examination expert and a patient A suspected to suffer from decreased cognitive function; and an administrative server device 34 for connecting an examiner terminal 22 owned by the examiner C with a user terminal 12 owned by the patient A via a network. The administrative server device 34, which acquires examination data on the patient A prepared by the examiner C on the basis of a two-way communication using audio and video between the examiner C and the patient A via the video conference system 32, transmits to the user terminal 12 the examination data or data for determining the patient A's decision making ability in his/her economic activities prepared on the basis of the examination data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
