PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-color molding method in which deterioration in external appearance quality due to resin shrinkage in a first resin part can be prevented when two-color molding is conducted, and to provide a metal die for two-color molding and a two-color molded article.SOLUTION: A two-color molded front cover 1 of a vehicle lamp includes: a translucent resin part 11; and a black resin part 12 to be molded integrally with a part of a peripheral part (the first surface) 11a of the translucent resin part 11. A covering part 12b consisting of a part of the black resin part 12 is formed on the peripheral side surface (the second surface) 11b of the translucent resin part, which surface is adjacent to the peripheral part 11a. Since an ununiform black resin part 12 is not formed on the peripheral side surface 11b of the translucent resin part 11, attractiveness in the external appearance of the translucent resin part 11 or the front cover 1 can be improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
