PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arc welding method restraining arc-starting defect in arc starting even when slag generates at completion of arc welding.SOLUTION: There is provided an arc welding method comprising applying a welding current between a welding wire 100 and a material 200 to be welded while using a COgas as a shield gas and feeding the welding wire 100 to the material 200, and generating arc by the welding current to carry out welding. The method includes a welding process of regulation-controlling the welding current to weld the material 200, and a welding completion process of controlling to apply a pulse current having the waveform of the welding current in a trapezoidal shape when completing the weld of the material 200.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
