PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a negative electrode for a sodium ion secondary battery, which can be manufactured at low cost, and which has high charge and discharge efficiencies and a large capacity; a sodium ion secondary battery including such a negative electrode; and a negative electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery, and a lithium ion secondary battery including the same.SOLUTION: A negative electrode 10 for a sodium ion secondary battery comprises a prussian blue analogue expressed by the following chemical formula: NaM[Fe(CN)](where M represents Fe, Co, Ni, Mn or Cd; x represents 0-2; and y represents 0-1).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
