PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set an area code to plural watthour meters.;SOLUTION: Each of watthour meters 11a, 11b and 11c performs an area code setting operation responding to an operation (button depression) made on an operation section. In the setting operation, each of the watthour meters 11a-11c transmits a command which includes a schedule area code to be set to own watthour meter to another watthour meter. Receiving a response to the command in a predetermined time, each of the watthour meters 11a-11c changes the schedule area code and transmits a command including the schedule area after the change to the other watthour meter. Receiving no response to the command in the predetermined time, each of the watthour meters 11a-11c sets the schedule area code as the area code of the own watthour meter.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
