PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: lithium titanate powder with which, when used as an electrode material, a power storage device can be constituted, the power storage device being high in initial charge/discharge capacity, excellent in charge rate characteristics, and high in capacity remaining rate during high-temperature storage; an active substance material containing the lithium titanate powder; and a power storage device in which the active substance material are used.SOLUTION: There are provided: lithium titanate powder for an electrode of a power storage device which comprises lithium titanate containing LiTiOas a main component and has a specific surface area of 5-50 m/g, the lithium titanate powder having a total pore volume of 0.03-0.5 ml/g and containing 0.03-1 mass% of a phosphorous atom; an active substance material containing the lithium titanate powder for an electrode of a power storage device; an electrode sheet including the active substance material; and a power storage device in which the electrode sheet is used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
