PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make simpler evaluation possible in a ferrite steel creep remaining life evaluation method.;SOLUTION: A method of evaluating a creep remaining life of ferrite steel exposed to heat in a use environment, comprises: a load stress estimation step (S10) of estimating a load stress acting on the ferrite steel in the use environment; a creep-rupture-time hardness setting step (S12) of setting a hardness of the ferrite steel exposed to heat at a time of creep rupture from the load stress; a hardness measuring step (S14) of measuring the hardness of the ferrite steel that is exposed to the use environment and on which the load stress acts; a hardness change rate calculation step (S16) of calculating a hardness change rate that is a ratio of the hardness after the exposure to heat to the hardness at the time of the creep rupture; and a creep remaining life evaluation step (S18) of evaluating a creep remaining life by comparing the hardness change rate with a relation between a hardness change rate of ferrite steel identical to or of the same in type as the ferrite steel exposed to heat and a creep life consumption rate calculated in advance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
