PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of evaluating a life of high-strength steel welded part capable of judging properly a remaining life of the welded part of high-strength ferrite steel. PSOLUTION: A determination method for this method of evaluating the life of the high-strength steel welded part by creep elongation comprises: a welded part creep elongation measuring process (S101) for measuring the creep elongation in a thermally affected portion within a prescribed range of the high-strength steel welded part that is an inspection object; a creep strain measuring process (S102) for comparing a measured result obtained in the creep elongation measuring process with a length of the prescribed range of the high-strength steel welded part in an initial operation stage to find a creep strain; a life consumption rate measuring process (S103) for applying an obtained a creep strain value to a creep strain characteristic curve indicating a relation between an operation time or creep life consumption rate and the creep strain preliminarily found, to find a life consumption rate of the inspection object; and a remaining life estimating process (S104) for estimating the remaining life of the welded part, based on the life consumption rate obtained in the life consumption rate measuring process.
