PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mental condition determination method capable of physically determining a mental condition such as a mental condition of whether or not there is a tendency of depression easily and simply.SOLUTION: A mental condition determination method includes a creation process for creating basic data for determination from a plurality of measurement data and a determination process for determining a mental condition of a user from the measurement data. The creation process includes a measurement process for acquiring measurement data, a discrimination process for substituting the acquired measurement data into a predetermined equation and performing logistic discrimination analysis, and a setting process for obtaining a correlation coefficient in each measurement data, obtaining a function by the correlation coefficient, obtaining an inflection point on a positive side and an inflection point on a negative side in the function, and setting an intermediate area, a depression area, and a normal area. The determination process executes a first determination process for determining in which area the measurement data is located, and a second determination process for collating whether the data is positive or negative for the data located in the intermediate area with the tendency of interview sheet data, and determining the result as normal if the tendencies of the two data coincide, and as depressed if the tendencies are different.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
