METHOD OF SETTING SILENT MODE AND RECOVERING NORMAL STANDBY MODE IN DIGITAL PERSONAL ASSISTANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone that is friendly to the aged for preventing information from being lost by missing an important call incoming notification by forgetting to recover a normal standby mode after setting a silent mode of the mobile phone.;SOLUTION: When setting a mobile phone 1 from the normal standby mode to the silent mode, on a screen of a window 3 that is displayed on a main display 2 by pressing or pushing long a silent mode setting key 6, a desired time until canceling the setting of the silent mode is inputted from a number key 5, and a determine key 4 is pressed. Therefore, the setting to the silent mode is executed and after the lapse of the desired time, the normal standby mode is recovered. The storage of the time into a memory is linked with a timer provided within the mobile phone 1 as a time that is obtained by adding the inputted time until the recovery of the normal standby mode to a present time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
