PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of titanium oxide carrying BiVOcapable of providing titanium oxide carrying fine BiVO, titanium oxide carrying fine BiVOand an antiviral composition having high antiviral performance in a light place without ultraviolet light.SOLUTION: There is provided an antiviral composition containing titanium oxide carrying BiVOwith number average particle diameter of BiVOof 100 nm or less and a bivalent copper compound. There is provided a manufacturing method of titanium oxide carrying BiVOincluding a process of blending titanium oxide, a bismuth compound, a vanadium compound, a bismuth ion-EDTA complex forming agent forming an ethylene diamine tetracetate complex with a bismuth ion, urea and water to manufacture a dispersion of titanium oxide having pH of 5.0 or less and a process for heating the dispersion of the titanium oxide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
