PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train congestion prediction system and a train congestion prediction system method that provides not only a congestion inside a train but also a train passenger turnover rate, information about an exchange of passengers due to getting on and off of users at a station to users of a railway to improve a convenience and amenity of the users.;SOLUTION: A train congestion prediction system comprises: a timetable storing part for storing train information and departure time for each station of train traveling on the track of the train; a train operation plan storing part for storing information and departure times at each station of train; a train getting on-off result information storing part for storing getting on-off information at each stop of train; and a congestion prediction display part for acquiring the information about the closest train to the station where the congestion information is to be displayed from the time table storing part using present time as a condition, acquiring information about the stops of the arriving train from the train operation plan storing part, acquiring the getting on-off result for each stop from the train getting on-off result information storing part and a train passenger turnover rate showing a rate of an exchange of passengers at the stop is computed and displayed for each section to the stop.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
