PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mastication ability measurement device and a mastication ability measurement method for measuring mastication ability.;SOLUTION: A mastication ability measurement method measures mastication ability based on glucose density which is dissolved in saliva being a sample, by mastication. The method is configured to measure the glucose density by a measurement tool, and parts of reaction electrode lines 32 on a substrate 31 of a detection sensor 30 are exposed from a reaction area 34a of a resist film 34 being an insulation member, therefore the sample and reagent can be easily dispersed to the reaction area 34a by a pipet for example. Then the dispersed sample and reagent dispersed to the reaction area 34a are directly brought into contact with the reaction electrode lines 32 on the substrate 31 of the detection sensor 30, therefore oxidation reduction current when the glucose is subjected to oxidation reduction by the reagent, is surely detected, via the reaction electrode lines.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
