PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing ferulic acid or ferulic acid glycoside by heating a beat fiber and a beat pulp at temperature below 160°C to efficiently elute ferulic acid or ferulic acid glycoside from the beat fiber and the beat pulp into an aqueous medium.;SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing ferulic acid or ferulic acid bonding type saccharide. The method includes: immersing a beat fiber and a beat pulp in an aqueous medium containing carbon dioxide; maintaining them in a temperature range of 100 to 150°C; and extracting the ferulic acid or the ferulic acid bonding type saccharide from them.;SELECTED DRAWING: None;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
