PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instantaneously calculate the total accounting amounts of all merchandise, and to shorten time required for accounting, resulting in the reduction of facility costs or personnel costs.;SOLUTION: A merchandise accounting system 1 for accounting merchandise 20 in a store includes: a memory 31 for storing a bar code 21 for identifying merchandise 20 and price information related to the merchandise 20 in association; an imaging device 110 for transmitting and imaging an object in which the bar code 21 is displayed, and for acquiring image information; an image reading device 120 for analyzing the image information acquired by the imaging device 110, and for reading the bar code 21; and a register device 30 for calculating the total amounts of the merchandise 20 by referring to the merchandise storage part on the basis of the bar code 21 read by an identification information reading part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
