PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease a number of times of transporting high-pressure hydrogen to a hydrogen station by simply producing hydrogen at the hydrogen station.SOLUTION: Provided is a hydrogen delivery system comprising: a step A of transporting metallic iron by using a container packed airtight with porous or powdery metallic iron from a metallic iron supply station to a hydrogen station having a hydrogen generating facility installed; a step B of producing hydrogen by the hydrogen generating facility using the metallic iron and selling the hydrogen obtained to a customer at the hydrogen station; and a step C of transporting back a container containing iron oxide generated after a reaction in the step B to the metallic iron supply station. In the step B, the container having the metallic iron packed is applied as a reaction chamber at the hydrogen generating facility, and hydrogen is generated by supplying one or two or more of hot water, steam, or superheated steam to the reaction chamber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
