PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypeptide having excellent collagen gel contractile activity, human skin fibroblast proliferative activity and hyaluronic acid-producing activity as well as antimicrobial activity, and to provide a skin care agent including the polypeptide as an active ingredient.SOLUTION: The polypeptide includes an amino-acid sequence represented by sequence No.1. According to this, an antimicrobial active polypeptide having excellent collagen gel contractile activity, human skin fibroblast proliferative activity and hyaluronic acid-producing activity is provided. Further, a skin care agent including the polypeptide as an active ingredient is provided.
