PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device capable of improving safety.;SOLUTION: A power conversion device 1 includes: a power conversion part 10; a gate driving part 30 for driving the power conversion part; a gate driving signal generation part 20 for generating a gate driving signal to be provided to the gate driving part; two cutoff parts 40 and 50, connected between the gate driving part and the gate driving signal generation part, for switching supply or cutoff of a gate driving signal to the gate driving part, according to a command from an external host device; a diagnosis part 60 for diagnosing abnormal condition for at least one cutoff part within the two cutoff parts; and a cutoff control part 70 for letting the other cutoff part, within the two cutoff parts, cut off supply of a gate driving signal to the gate driving part, if one of the cutoff parts is diagnosed as abnormal condition by the diagnosis part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
