PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the stopping of a power converter owing to a failure thereof by a technique for diagnosis of a power conversion device.;SOLUTION: A power conversion device comprises: voltage change extraction parts 14 and 21 operable to accept the input of an output voltage waveform based on a voltage between terminals of a semiconductor module 1 and a voltage signal resulting from the detection of a current flowing through the terminals of the semiconductor module by a current sensor 26, and to determine an output voltage waveform and a voltage signal as results of the extension of the output voltage waveform and voltage signal based on a filter constant while retaining amplitude values of the output voltage waveform and voltage signal in a transition region; voltage change extraction parts 15 and 22 operable to determine an output voltage waveform and a voltage signal which have a conducting state-holding time and amplitude values of the output voltage waveform and voltage signal in a steady region as a region other than the transition region; AD converters 17 and 24 operable to perform digital conversion when accepting the input of the output voltage waveform and the voltage signal; and a digital signal processing circuit 18 operable to diagnose the operation of the semiconductor module based on the output voltage waveform and voltage signal subjected to the digital conversion.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
