PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid chromatograph in which the capacity of a sample loop can be adjusted to a capacity suitable for the injected amount of a sample.;SOLUTION: A sample loop comprises a basic loop 38, an extension loop 42, and a loop capacity switching mechanism 40. The basic loop is configured in such a way that one end constitutes the upstream end of the sample loop and the other end constitutes the upstream end of the sample loop, and a plurality of flow channels are connected in series. The extension loop is provided separately from the basic loop. The loop capacity switching mechanism switches to one of a state in which flow channels constituting the basic loop are connected not via the extension loop and a state in which these flow channels are connected via the extension loop. The sample loop is switched by the loop capacity switching mechanism to one of a state configured with only the basic loop and a state configured with the basic loop and the extension loop.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
