PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring harness visual inspection apparatus capable of specifying a shooting area to be shot by a shooting section to inspect a target site with no need for a special configuration.;SOLUTION: A wiring harness visual inspection apparatus comprises a camera 12, a shooting area specifying section 34, and an image inspecting section 35. The camera 12 can shoot an area of a part of an assembly drawing board carried along a preset path with a wiring harness being set. The shooting area specifying section 34 searches image data obtained by the camera 12 for a position qualifying image that is at least either one of an image indicating a part of a content of an assembly drawing attached to the assembly drawing board or an image of a harness holding member for holding the wiring harness in the assembly drawing board, so as to specify a shooting area corresponding to the image data. The image inspecting section 35 uses the image data with the specified shooting area, so as to determine whether a target site of the wiring harness passes or fails visual inspection.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
