Automatic visual inspection system for printed wiring boards

摘要

A technology has been developed for automatic visual inspection of circuit patterns that makes inspections fast, accurate and flexible. Automated visual inspection systems for PWB circuit patterns and bare boards are needed to improve quality andproductivity as multilayer PWBs exploit finer patterns to provide high-density wiring for BGA packages and multichip modules. The limitations of previous visual inspection systems has driven the development of new technologies for this purpose.
