PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disinfection method of seed that can be used for sprout production from a standpoint on food safety, and disinfection effect is very high at the same time.SOLUTION: A disinfection method of seed is characterized in that disinfection is performed by an order that seed used for sprout production is performed by sodium hypochlorite treatment, then performed by lysozyme treatment; a production method of disinfection seed that is used for sprout production is characterized in that disinfection of seed is performed by the disinfection method; and a production method of sprout is characterized in that raising seedling is performed by using seed performed by disinfection by the method.
