PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driving controller capable of protecting a motor driving controller from the electromotive force of the motor generated by the rotation of a fan due to an outdoor wind, increasing the number of turns in the winding of the motor, and reducing a motor current. PSOLUTION: The motor driving controller 110 for driving the motor 7 to rotate a fan has an inverter circuit 5 for inverting a DC voltage to an AC voltage to apply it to the motor 7, and a controlling means for controlling the operation of the motor 7 by controlling the inverter circuit 5. The controlling means switches a switching pattern in the inverter circuit 5 to pass a short current into the winding of the motor 7, when the electromotive force of the motor 7 is generated over a predetermined level by the rotation of the fan due to the outdoor wind.
