PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for synthesizing ZnO.;SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method for producing ZnO comprising a step of continuously circulating a growing solution saturated with ZnO between a warmer deposition area containing a substrate or a seed and a colder dissolution area containing raw materials of ZnO. In one embodiment, the method of the present invention comprises steps of: (a) dissolving a nutrient containing zinc at a first temperature using an aqueous composition; and (b) synthesizing ZnO at a second temperature, in which the second temperature for synthesizing ZnO is higher or warmer than the first temperature for dissolving the nutrient and the synthesis of ZnO takes place due to the reduction of a solubility of ZnO in the aqueous composition at the warmer second temperature compared to the colder first temperature.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
