The present invention provides a method and a system for producing a printed fabric that can achieve both light resistance of light color and color development of dark color. The method for producing a printed fabric includes a first printing step in which a part of the fabric is printed with a sublimation dye to form a first printed region, and a portion different from the first printed region of the fabric is printed with a pigment.
