Flat knitting machine needle selection system, the selectors, and the flat knitting machine

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle selection system of a flat knitting machine capable of more stably performing needle selection than a conventional needle selection system.;SOLUTION: A needle selection system 1 includes a selector 4 constituting a part of a knitting needle 200 and a needle selection device 2 provided in a carriage 300 reciprocating in the longitudinal direction of a needle bed 100. The selector 4 includes an armature 43 and an elastic leg piece 44 extending toward a tail end side opposite to a needle bed gap side. The needle selection device 2 includes a needle selection actuator 10 and an interposition cam 20. The interposition cam 20 is provided so as to protrude to a position facing the needle selection actuator 10. The interposition cam 20 interposes between the armature 43 and the elastic leg piece 44 of the selector 4 to spread the space between the armature 43 and the elastic leg piece 44 when the carriage 300 travels on the needle bed 100. As a result, the selector 4 is supported by the carriage 300 in which the interposition cam 20 is provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
