PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material for road signs, allowing white road lines which can be easily visually recognized even when the road is covered with water at night to be constructed; a master batch pellet of the coating material; and a white road sign object constructed with use of the master batch pellet.SOLUTION: A luminous pigment is covered with a silane coupling agent and further covered with at least one of a white fluorescent dye having a good optical transparency and a glass powder so as to form a light emitting granules. The light emitting granules, an extender additive, and a thermoplastic resin as binder are mixed, so that the light emitting particles are dispersed therein to form a coating material for road signs. The coating material is pelletized. A white road sign object is constructed using the pellet.
